The delegation led by Georgia’s Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani, on an official visit to Armenia, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial accompanied by Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Defense, Arman Sargsyan.
The guests were welcomed by Edita Ghzoyan, Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, who escorted them to the memorial and presented the history of its creation.
Mr. Irakli Chikovani laid a wreath at the monument commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The delegation then placed flowers at the Eternal Flame and observed a moment of silence in honor of the innocent victims.
At the conclusion of the visit, Mr. Chikovani toured the Memory Park.
