Armenologist and genocide scholar Vahram Shemmassian has donated the Armeno-Turkish manuscript memoir of Nuard Vahide Yekarian, a participant in the Musa Dagh heroic battle, titled "1915 Suetiya Muharebesi" ("The 1915 War of Suedia"), to the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

This exceptional primary source, consisting of 97 pages, holds significant value not only for the history of the Musa Dagh self-defense but also for the study of the Armenian Genocide period. The uniqueness of the memoir lies in the fact that it was written concurrently with the events, based on the author's personal experiences and direct observations, which imbues the manuscript with exceptional documentary value.

In 1916, Nuard Yekarian moved from Port Said to the United States. The memoir was preserved by her family for many years, and in 1987, Vahram Shemmassian received it directly from Nuard Yekarian herself.

It is noteworthy that Nuard Yekarian’s memoir was published as early as 1916 in issues 429–434 of the Asbarez periodical, published in Fresno.

The transfer of the memoir to the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute is an important acquisition for the museum's archival collection, enriching it with new and unique testimonies regarding the years of the Musa Dagh heroic battle and the Armenian Genocide.
