On June 30, a delegation led by Johannes Volkmann, a member of the German Bundestag, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial. The delegation included representatives from both the ruling and opposition parties of the Bundestag.

They laid a wreath at the monument eternalizing the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide, and subsequently honored the memory of the martyrs with a minute of silence at the Eternal Flame.

The guests were welcomed and accompanied during the visit by Hrachya Tashchyan, the Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI).
