On 3 November, president of Russian upper house of parliament Valentina Matviyenko visited AGMI accompanied with Russian Federation Council delegation and RA NA Vice President Mrs. Hermine Naghdalyan.

They honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence near the eternal fire of the Memorial Complex.

Mrs. Valentina Matviyenko also visited the museum and got acquainted with the historical documents and proofs of the Armenian Genocide.

At the end of the visit Valentina Matviyenko left a note in the book of honorable guests.

Deputy Director of AGMI presented to the Russian guests some of the publications of AGMI.
