The Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State Victoria Nuland, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Evelin Farkas and US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Richard Mills visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.
The American guests laid flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide with a minute of silence.
Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan presented the history of US diplomatic and humanitarian aid. They also had a tour at the Memory wall.
At the end of the visit Director of AGMI handed the US Secretary of State Victoria Nuland gold medal of “Clara Barton”.
