On 22 October, at 15:00 the next methodological seminar will take place at the conference hall of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Foundation.
The seminar will be delivered by Aram Arkun, American-Armenian historian, Armenologist, editor-translator, executive director of the Tekeyan Cultural Association, and the assistant editor of the “Armenian Mirror Spectator.”
The topic for the seminar is "State of the Armenian Genocide Study in the United States and Coverage of the Armenian Genocide in the American Armenian Press."
Arkun is a specialist in modern Armenian history and has published a number of articles on Ottoman- and Iranian-Armenian topics. He has also translated books and articles from Armenian, French and Turkish.
Arkun received his B.A. from Princeton University, his master’s degree in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania, and a C. Phil. from UCLA. He has lectured at New York University, UCLA, and the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
As already informed, starting from February 2019 the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Foundation has launched a series of public lectures and methodological seminars.
