In November 26, European Churches Conference delegation (CEC) visited AGMI headed by the Chair of the body Bishop of Anglican Church Christopher Hill. About thirty delegates of Christian ecumenical organization put flowers at the eternal fires and honored the memory of innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.
Remembrance ceremony in English language headed by Bishop Hill was held over there, asking the intercession of the saints.
After the prayers the delegation also visited Armenian Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the historical facts of the Armenian Genocide.
Around 125 Anglican, Lutheran, Orthodox and Catholic churches are members of European Church Conference.
This year the organization held its three-day meeting of the governing body in Armenia.
