George Tsereteli, President of Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial and Museum accompanied by Hayk Konjoryan, Head of the RA National Assembly Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

The delegation was welcomed by the AGMI Director Harutyun Marutyan who presented to the guests the history and symbolism of the Genocide Monument. Members of the delegation put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

The guests also visited the Genocide Museum where the AGMI tour-guide Hasmik Martirosyan presented the details about the exhibition and the genocide history.

After the visit the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly left a note in the Memory Book of honorable guests. Dr Harutyun Marutyan gifted to Mr. George Tsereteli the five volumes of «The Armenian Genocide: Prelude and Aftermath. As reported in the U.S. Press» compiled and edited by Vahan Ohanyan, the Archimandrite of the Mekhitarist Congregation, and Australian-Armenian Ara Ketibian.
