The Russian delegation headed by the Chief of Staff of the RF Presidential Administration Sergei Ivanov, which is in Armenia on the occasion of the inauguration of the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and put flowers at the Memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. Sergei Ivanov laid a wreath at the Memorial Complex and paid tribute to the Memory of the Armenian Genocide Victims.
Sergei Ivanov watered a fir which was planted 10 years ago.

On November 24 the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Bashkiria Raphayil Zinurov Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, put flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

Cardinal Kurt Koch, President of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. Cardinal Kurt Koch put flowers at the Eternal Fire and prayed for the repose of the victims’ souls. Then the guests visited Armenian Genocide Museum.

The delegation of the Russian Institute of Strategic Studies (RISS), Moscow, headed by the director Leonid Reshetnikov and accompanied by Ruben Safrastyan, the director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of Republic of Armenia, visited the Armenian Genocide Museum & Institute. The guests from the Russian Federation took a guided tour in the museum. Afterwards they had a meeting with the director of AGMI Hayk Demoyan.

A group of Cambridge University MA/PhD Students of Department of Politics and International Studies visited Armenian Genocide Museum and took a tour of the museum after which they had a meeting with the director of AGMI Hayk Demoyan. Mr. Demoyan briefed the students a bit about the Armenian genocide issues and answered the question of interest to the students.
Among other European and North American students in the group were also British, Indian as well as a Turk student.

On November 9, 2011, the granddaughter of Fridtjof Nansen Marit Greve, with the Norwegian delegation, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. She laid flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence. The director of the Armenian Genocide Museum and Institute Hayk Demoyan gave golden medals "Fridtjof Nansen 150” to Mrs. Greve.

On November 7, 2011, Asya Darbinyan, a graduate research fellow at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, recently spent four days at the Armenian Research Center conducting research for her dissertation on Near East Relief orphanages.
Near East Relief (now called the Near East Foundation) was a major U.S. relief organization established during the First World War to assist the victims of the Armenian Genocide and other atrocities of the same period.
Darbinyan is a Carnegie Endowment fellow this term, based at UCLA, but also is visiting other academic and research centers in Washington, DC; New York; Boston; and Dearborn to conduct additional fieldwork.

On August 30, 2011, the regular meeting of the MFA senior staff and the heads of the diplomatic missions started in the Conference Hall of the K. Demirjian Sports and Concert Complex.
During the consultation the high-ranking officials of the Republic of Armenia had their speeches.
Hayk Demoyan, the Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and the Secretary of the State Commission of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, presented the preparatory works of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

Dr. Hayk Demoyan, director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, has become a new member of the Genocide Education Project’s (GenEd) advisory board.
The Genocide Education Project is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization that assists educators in teaching about human rights and genocide, particularly the Armenian Genocide, by developing and distributing instructional materials, providing access to teaching resources and organizing educational workshops.

Dr. Ara Sanjian, the Associate Professor in Armenian and Middle Eastern History from University of Michigan - Dearborn had a meeting in the Armenian Genocide Museum & Institute with the staff of AGMI. The actual issues on the study of Armenian Genocide, the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and the collaboration between Republic of Armenia and Armenian Diaspora were discussed during this meeting.

On Monday, speaker of the Croatian parliament Luka Bebic who is in Armenia on an official visit has paid respect to the Armenian Genocide victims. On the first day of their official visit to Yerevan, the delegation headed by Bebic laid flowers on the Genocide Memorial Complex in Tsitsernakaberd.
