THE PRINCE OF ROMANIA PAID TRIBUTE TO ARMENIAN GENOCIDE VICTIMS
On 29 October, the Prince Radu of Romania accompanied by Mr. Cornel Ionescu, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the RA, and Sergey Minasyan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.
Lusine Abrahamyan, AGMI deputy director, welcomed the guests and presented the history and symbolism of the Armenian Genocide Monument.
Prince Radu laid a wreath at the Genocide Monument after which members of the accompanying delegation put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.
After the ceremony the guests visited the Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the exhibition and details of the Genocide History. At the end of the visit Prince Radu left a note in the Memory Book of honorable guests.
Romanian guest had also a tour in the Memory Alley.
