NOBEL LAUREATES VISITED THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE MUSEUM-INSTITUTE

On April 15, Nobel Laureates visited Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute within the framework of the “Nobel Days in Yerevan”. They visited Tsitsernakaberd memorial, after which they walked through the museum halls and got acquainted with the documented history of the Armenian Genocide.
The scientists left a note in AGMI Memory Book of honorable guests.
“The “Nobel Days in Yerevan” is the most important scientific events ever to be held in Armenia, which aims to present facts about scientific achievements which have become Nobel legacy. The visitors were; Aaron Ciechanover from Israel (awarded for the discovery of ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation), Ada Yonath from Israel (awarded for her study of structure and function of the ribosome), Dan Shechtman from Israel (won the Nobel Prize in chemistry), John Robin Warren from Australia (won the Nobel Prize in Physiology), Ei-ichi Negishi from Japan (won the Nobel Prize in chemistry).
